Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs)

Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs) are agreements between energy services companies (ESCOs) and their customers for financing energy efficiency improvements. The ESCO designs a project to increase the energy efficiency of the customer, purchases and installs the necessary equipment, and is responsible for maintenance as well as measuring the energy consumption and savings. With no cost of installing the equipment, customers will instead pay the ESCO part of the savings resulting from the energy efficiency improvements. This is a great advantage to those commercial & multi-family residential property owners that prefer keeping large capital expenditures off their balance sheets.

Associated Renewable's Finance team offers custom financing solutions through ESPCs that are designed to meet the need of every customer, specific to the  existing equipment of the facility, type of property, fuel sources used on premises and other relevant factors. Contact our Energy Solutions team at (212) 444-8215 to learn more about financing your energy efficiency retrofits or any other projects.
